Ms. Schein has over a dozen years of experience as a brand strategy, licensing, and marketing professional, focusing on both established and emerging brands in fashion, accessories and the home retail space. Her areas of expertise include brand strategy & brand management, licensing, brand awareness and growth. She focuses on the creation of brand architecture, creating and implementing 360º marketing strategies, as well as conceptualizing and executing all necessary steps required to accurately lead a brand towards the realization of its potential. As brand awareness relevant to niche markets lies at the core of Ms. Schein’s ability, she has a strong understanding of the individual requirements needed for a brand to develop and expand successfully.
Ms. Schein started her career in product development, working with some of the largest retailers in the world. In that role, she was immersed in the product life cycle and gained valuable experience with overseas manufacturers to source and develop product. Ms. Schein then took a position as a buyer, which gave her insight as to how to evaluate the target consumer and her or his shopping behaviors. Transitioning to brand licensing, she developed relationships with brand owners, licensees and manufacturers, managing every aspect of brand awareness and monetization. Most recently, Ms. Schein was Senior Director of Creative, Marketing and Brand Management at Sequential Brands Group focusing on the outdoor, home and fashion apparel spaces.
Ms. Schein received her BA from Rutgers College at Rutgers University and obtained a secondary degree in Fashion Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
